Ari Gold and the crew will be finishing Season 7 (currently running) and they will most probably only be doing 6 episodes for Season 8.
The men of “Entourage” are nearing their last season, “The Insider” confirms.
It was announced that the eighth season of the hit HBO series will be its last, ending in 2011. The season will also be cut short, only including six episodes.
But this may not be the last time we see Vince, Ari, Eric, Turtle and Drama. There are rumblings that an “Entourage” movie is in the works. Jeremy Piven told ET at a premiere party this past June that he is petitioning to land a role in the supposed ‘Entourage’ film. To earn brownie points from executive producer Mark Wahlberg, “I’ve been Mark’s pool boy for almost two months now,” he joked.
Meanwhile, the seventh season of “Entourage” is underway, airing Sunday nights on HBO.
