It seems that their are many people who wanna start rumors that Moomba is closing or we lost our liquor license, both are untrue & totally fabricated by some random people who simply do not want Moomba to stay open and of course, our friends from the press & media who always loved us in the past with their articles and especially with always calling Moomba a “supperclub” which it is definitely & clearly NOT for thousands of people that have dined or partied there, Moomba is a World Class Restaurant first and supperclub second.
Also, it seems that everyone is an suddenly an expert on what is happening in the supperclub these days by spreading rumors on Facebook, text , emails and word of mouth….our favorite this week that went pretty viral on saturday morning was that Moomba burnt down by a huge fire!! It just goes to show, everyone believes anything these days when really all you gotta do is call the supperclub or check Google to see if its true or better yet, pass by the supperclub and see for yourself.
Dont believe a random persons posting on fb or text, verify it first to see if its true and do not spread it, all you are doing is spreading a “lie” virus as i like to call it.
Moomba is currently in discussions (as you read or heard) with the courts to expand and they are giving us a hard time but this is normal for businesses, even harder for them because they are a “supperclub” and the law never wants to give these types of businesses the time of day….some people just dont like “supperclubs” to stay open and they will try anything to close it down…but at the end of the day, they wont because Moomba is and will always be committed to work with them as a team, give them reports, beef our security for the safety of the staff and the clients partying inside and do whatever it takes to continue keeping peace amongst each other for a smooth night.
That said, Moomba is open for business as usual all this week and the whole year, and if anything would change…make sure you hear it from us and not some sketchy text that comes your way or a random facebook status.

We urge everyone to continue spreading this page because we aren’t closing down despite the rumors. Many people from around the world line up to visit Moomba and we host events for great companies. We’ve been opened 4 nights a week for the past years and we accommodate a diverse clientele from policemen to entrepreneurs. With more than 60 honest and respectable employees working at Moomba, it is unethical for them to lose their jobs over false information and rumors. Moomba Supperclub would never willingly hire criminals to work for us. We cannot control what our employees do outside of Moomba and we certainly do not condone criminal activities. Also, the allegations against the doorman Claudio relating to the Rizzuto family are false.
Recently, the new articles published by the media have not been accurate and rely on sensationalism to attract you, the readers, to their publications. False information and negativity seems to attract readers! It is surprising to see how positive news regarding many resto-bars never gets reported. No one wants to read about good news but once again, we’re reporting good news: Moomba Supperclub is still open.
